The name “Shaurya” suggests his courageous personality. Since, childhood, he struggled with so many physical and cognitive challenges. Academics were not Shaurya’s forte and he always showed an artistic bent of mind. In South Africa, he first learnt how to mould and paint clay under the guidance of a professional potter and started making small pieces.

He then moved to Thailand with family and got trained further. In the space of 3 years he held a solo exhibition in Bangkok in one of the reputed galleries where his works were well received by press and public. When he moved back to India with his family, the dream to open a studio for him was realized in 2013. The studio was inaugurated by eminent potter and artist Rekha Bajpe Agarwal from Gurgaon.
